Press Review • Five more medals for Luxembourg cider maker

The competition is one in which over 200 breweries and cider makers from around the world take part.

“The only other company to win that many medals was Angry Orchard, which is part of a $2mn business,” said Adie Kaye, Ramborn president of products and marketing, on Tuesday.

A total of five medals were awarded to Ramborn, including two golds: one for its Farmhouse Dry Cider, the other for its perry. It also raked in a silver medal and two bronzes, one of which went to its bourbon-aged barrel, which itself received a gold medal at this year’s Cider World event in Frankfurt.

“Cider-loving pizza makers”

As Kaye explained, over 50 bars and restaurants in the UK now carry Ramborn products, including The Stable, which has Ramborn’s as the only perry on tap at all 17 of their locations. Ross Duncan, brand ambassador for these so-called “cider-loving pizza makers”, called the decision to do so “a real no-brainer”.

The Born-based cider producer now is also present in more than 30 bars and restaurants in the US’ midwest region and in a variety of bars, restaurants and stores from Italy to Finland and Hungary.
