WHAT IS WASSAIL?

Wassail is an old custom that dates back to the Anglo-Saxon times, when people would drink hot spiced cider, sing songs and bless the apple trees to ensure a bountiful harvest.

Ramborn has adapted this tradition in Luxembourg: during the Wassail ceremony we plant a tree and show the participants how to care for older ones.

It’s a way of honoring nature, continuing our work of orchard restoration and chasing away evil spirits. 🌙🌳
